This bluesy and authentic hard rock band is reminiscent of Black Crowes,  the Stones, Lenny Kravitz and even Sly and Otis, with cool rockin’ songs, slide guitar, blues, awesome vocals and kick-ass Hammond.

Touch was borne from the band “American Tears”.  The Incarnation of Amercan Tears that recorded that band’s third CD for COLUMBIA RECORDS, left that label, re-worked their sound and hooked up with Deep Purple and Rainbow Manager, Bruce Payne.
TOUCH Recorded two CD’s for Atlantic Records, the second unreleased until recently released by the European Label FRONTIERS, and the Japanese Label Marquee/Avalon

“THE COMPLETE WORKS OF TOUCH”

The “COMPLETE WORKS OF TOUCH” available here, includes both CD’s and also some other recordings created by the band which have  never before been released (including an interesting version of “I Found Someone”, eventually recorded by Cher).  It also includes the “live” version of “Don’t You Know What Love Is” performed at the Donnington Monsters of Rock Festival.

Known for, among other things, being the first band to take the stage at DONNINGTON MONSTERS OF ROCK FESTIVAL, Touch had such memorable songs as “Don’t You Know What Love Is” and “When The Spirit Moves You” , both of which were “Top 40″ in the U.S.   Given huge harmonies (created by Craig, Doug and Mark who were each “lead” singers in their own rights), and great musicianship, TOUCH stressed melodic metal songs with anthemic choruses, and progressive songs which showed off the musicianship of the band.

Drive, She Said is the partnership of Mark and Al Fritsch.  Originally signed to
Columbia Records, the group recorded it’s first record which spawned the singles “If This Is Love” and “Love Has No Pride” (written with  Aldo Nova).
The Duo, with their band, toured extensively in europe and went on to record two more CD’s for the European Label Music For Nations.  Another European Label, Frontiers released the “Best Of” CD “Road To Paradise” which also included 3 newly recorded songs. 

Presently, Al and Mark are recording their 5th CD entitled “Real Life” for the Frontiers Label.   “Real Life” is certainly turning out to be their best ever, featuring sweeping melody, huge vocals, adventurous arrangements, virtuoso musicianship and also some straight ahead kick-ass melodic rock.  Playing drums, this time, is the noted drummer, Jonathan Mover (Satriani…).  Notably, all instruments besides drums and keys  are  played by the amazingly multi-talented Al, who scathes on guitar, bass and keys, too boot, besides being an award-winning singer.  Yup, Al’s scary!!!

TheWritten by Mark and Michael Bolton, “I Found Someone” was first recorded by Laura Branigan,  for her Atlantic Records CD “Hold Me”.  This version is not available yet on this page.  It will be soon….
Thereafter Michael interested Cher in recording the song, which he produced, and her wonderful voice made the song come alive to touch hearts all over the world. 
Michael’s version of the song on the original demo is amazing (though unfortunately not available), and his version on his “Greatest Hits” is a wonderful and fresh approach to the song.
Mark re-recorded the song for his new CD “Lift” (see the “Lift” page) giving it his interpretation and of course exploiting and embellishing the signature keyboard arpeggio intro and ending.
